Little Boys Tshirt

I haven't been doing much crafting lately. Mostly making hair things for my little girl and spring cleaning/getting ready for the baby. I have sooo many things I wanna do that the list keeps piling up! My next thing I wanna make is a cute fat quarter skirt for Kymber which is beyond easy, even a caveman could do it! And... of course these for my boys!

"Stair" Art

This makes me wish I had my dream home already and had stairs. Looks easy enough to do not to mention CUTE! It looks like you could make them interchangeable too to change it up every now and again!

You know what my little girl would absolutely die for? This.

Hair Clippies

I used to make hair clippies and flower clips for my little girl ALL THE TIME, but somehow got caught up in this new little bundle that's on it's way and I have been making stuff for him. Totally neglecting my other kids. After my cute friend Madyln  started making them for her girls, I decided to take it up again and make "Big Sister" feel special. ( Plus I get to use them too!)

My dear husband got invited to the midnight showing of Iron Man so he went to bed when the kids did leaving me with a few hours to have all to myself. Sounds like a craft op!

(This is pretty much all you need for these )

-Hot Glue
-Scissors
-Embellishment for the center of the clippie
-Ribbon ( I like 3/8" ribbon for the perfect flowers but you can use whatever you want really)
-Alligator Clips (You can find them in bulk at Sally's if you plan on making alot or you can online)

♥Cut the ribbon to the size that you want and them hot glue it so it looks like this

♥Step 2: Glue the centers of the insides together

♥Step 3: Now make 3 of these and glue them together staggering each other simulating a flower

♥Step 4: Now glue ribbon to cover the alligator clip. I like to also glue a little section from a drawer liner to help keep the clip from slipping our of the hair. Sounds weird right? But it works like a charm!

♥Last: Glue an embellishement in the middle to finish it off! Here is some of the ones that I've made!

(The lighting sucks I know!)

Rag Quilt and Burp Rags

I haven't posted much lately due to the fact that I find myself completely busy with the 2 kids and preparing for this new baby of ours! I've made a few things for the little one to keep myself busy which has totally helped keep me sane as well ( as much as a pregnant girl can be that is!)

Now I already knew how to make rag blankets, but here is a tutorial I found for you just in case you need it!

(I hurried and googled it and this is the best one I've found and makes it soo simple for you. P.S. those spring scissors they're talking about..trust me. They make the job much easier!)

How grateful am I that rag quilts are pretty much one of the most forgiving blankets to make!! I did make a few mistakes here and there, but good thing you'd never know if I hadn't of told you! I made the burp rag bigger than most just because my other baby boy was a puke fest so most likely this one will be too. (Thank you to my husbands genes)
